Liam Payne Birthday: One Direction Boys Post Sweet Twitter Messages For Liam’s 20th, Spends Day With Girlfriend And Shoots New Music Video

Liam Payne celebrated his 20th birthday on August 29, and his One Direction band mates took to Twitter to post sweet messages to him. Liam Payne spent the day with his girlfriend while shooting a new One Direction music video in East London.

"Happy birthday to my brother @Real_Liam_Payne !" Niall Horan tweeted on August 29, Hollywood Life reports. "No longer a teenager buddie! love you dude !"

Harry Styles also made sure to wish his band mate a happy birthday, E! News reports. He took to Twitter to say: "@Real_Liam_Payne is now 20 years old. Which means he is suddenly wiser and more manly than he was before. Happy birthday man. .xx."

Though Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson didn't post anything on their Twitter accounts that day, we can only imagine that they wished him well in real life.

Liam Payne himself tweeted on his birthday: "Good morning everyone :) can't quite believe my life there's no bigger birthday present than what you've done for me in 3 years thank you xx"

He later shared his one wish for his 20th birthday: "If anyone was planning on buying me anything this is the 1st place u should go https://trekstock.com/donate-now ," he tweeted. "you could make difference to somebody"

And though Directioners, fans of One Direction, caused hashtags like "#HappyBirthdayLiam" and "Liam is 20" to trend worldwide on August 29, not everyone was pleased.

Today, "Liam James Payne Smith" was trending worldwide, but so was "#BanOneDirectionFansFromTwitter."

According to Reveal website, the new 20-year-old spent his birthday with his girlfriend Sophia Smith, as they held hands and joined his 1D band mates in East London to film a new music video at a pie and mash shop.
