Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One: Release Date Announcement To Boost Microsoft Sales? Fans Urge Square Enix To Launch Game

Kingdom Hearts 3 fans have been buzzing about the possible release of the game on the Xbox One, leaving gamers wondering if Square Enix's release date announcement could boost sales for Microsoft's Xbox One.

But Square Enix developer Tetsuya Nomura says the development of Kingdom Hearts 3 is "still being debated" and that he has "no idea what characters or worlds will be seen," Auto-OMobile.com reports.

"Fan expectation for 'Kingdom Hearts 3′ is extremely high," Nomura said during an interview. "To respond to those expectations, I have to provide something really good."

Some believe Square Enix will move forward with plans to produce the game and is desperate to release it.

"Nope, Square Enix needs money. Kingdom Hearts 3 is potential money. Square Enix will make Kingdom Hearts 3 to make money," the source told Society and Religion.

"Of course nothing is ever set in stone and hey Square Enix could suddenly crash and burn or Nomura could die or something. Kingdom Hearts III isn't about to be cancelled, though."
