Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch: Confirmed To Be Released Alongside Note 3, Expected To Come In Four Colors

Finally, word has come out that the Samsung Galaxy Gear will be launched with the Galaxy Note 3, during the IFA event on September.

GSM Arena reported that according to Samsung's executive vice-president Leee Young-hee, the Korean company's most-awaited gadget will also be announced together with its newest flagship, the Note 3.

The EVP is extremely confident that the Galaxy Gear would be able to affect the mobile industry as well due to its key feature which is being a 'concept wearable device'. Young-Lee also mentioned that the smartwatch will primarily be aimed to trend-setters and consumers who want to embrace the future of the mobile market.

According to GSM Arena, the smartwatch would not feature a bendable screen as what was previously rumored. The EVP said that particular feature would be done in future models of the device.

For the past few weeks, several rumors have spread like wildfire across the Internet, bearing certain specifications of the device.

The Galaxy Gear smartwatch reportedly would feature 1.67" screen with 320x320 resolution. It may also have a dualcore Exynos 4212 chipset.

Other reports revealed that it may come in four different colors - white, orange, grey, and black, with a white gold variant coming in the next few months.
