In honor of his birthday on Thursday, One Direction's Liam Payne asked his fans to give the gift of a donation to the cancer charity Trekstock.
The first thing the 1D crooner did on his born day was thank his over 12 million followers for giving him the gift of success as a musician.
"Good morning everyone :) can't quite believe my life there's no bigger birthday present than what you've done for me in 3 years thank you xx," said Payne.

The British star then followed up his gratitude with requesting what would be the greatest present of all; a donation to Trekstock. "If anyone was planning on buying me anything this is the 1st place u should go http:/ trekstock.com/donate-now you could make difference to somebody," Payne tweeted.

His good deed is coming right after the "This Is Us" movie premiere where he defended his bandmate Harry Styles by addressing Taylor Swift's behavior at the VMAs. Payne thought that Swift allegedly whispering "shut the f*ck up" to Selena Gomez while him and his band was on stage was totally "lame."
"I just thought it was a bit not needed. I mean, you just won an award, it's like, concentrate on yourself," said Payne, in regard to Swift's Moon Man acceptance speech.
