Lindsey Vonn Talks About Boyfriend Tiger Woods, Says She's Ready To Ski Race Again After Knee Injury Recovery: 'Physically I'm 100% Now'

Olympic medalist Lindsey Vonn talked about her relationship with boyfriend and pro golfer Tiger Woods to People magazine, and confirmed that she is ready to roll after fully recovering from her knee injury, USA Today reported Thursday.

Before Lindsey opened up about Tiger Woods and her future career plans, she first reflected on the major changes that had happened to her life after the divorce proceedings with ex-husband Thomas Vonn were closed in 2011.

"From a personal standpoint, everything in my life has changed. It's a complete 180 in a short period of time," Vonn said. "I went from being married and living on my own in L.A. to having a new boyfriend and just being totally self-sufficient and super independent."

When asked about her relationship with Tiger Woods, Vonn answered, "There's really nothing about him that bothers me... He doesn't even leave the seat up! It's awesome."

Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods - both 37 - publicly announced their relationship in March. The two met in 2012 at a charity event and they confirmed that they have been dating since then.

Meanwhile, Vonn also dished out about her successful knee injury rehabilitation, and how she is now ready to get back to ski racing.

"Physically I'm 100% now," she told USA Today Sports on Wednesday.  "I've been in the gym far too long. I'm ready to be out in the fresh air."

Lindsey Vonn shared that although she had a wonderful time with her family during her knee injury recovery, she is now longing to race down the snowy mountains again and perhaps even earn another trophy.

"I've been working so hard for so long to get back. I don't care what I do as long as I'm on snow. I just want to get back to my job," she said, adding, "I'm the same person I was before. I'm an Olympic ski racer. I don't read into what people say especially now... Whether people know me for my skiing or not is really irrelevant because people in ski racing know and respect me and that's all that really matters."

Vonn is to next week to prepare for her return to ski racing in a competition in Beaver Creek, Colo in November.

"I leave for Chile on Friday and I'll be on the snow on Monday!" Vonn told NY Daily News. "It's probably going to be slower than I want it to be ... But I'm really excited just to be out there, to be in the mountains, to be going fast again."

Despite Lindsey's enthusiasm to going back to her career, her trainer Martin Hager said that she still needs to check first if her knee is ready for the cold weather.

"We'll just try to see how she feels on snow, how her knee is reacting. Not getting swelling will be the focus for the first two days - skiing without any pain," Hager said.

Lindsey Vonn is currently planning to join the 2014 Olympics Games in Sochi, Russia, and she is hoping that Tiger Woods would come along and support her endeavor.

"He's kind of a fish out of water in the cold weather. It's going to be really cute," Vonn said.
