Legend Of Korra Book 2 Commercials Confuse Fans Over Release Date [VIDEOS]: Does It Confirm The One-Hour Premiere?

Recently, a pair of commercials for "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 has caused confusion for fans over the release date of the series, but it remains September 13.

In addition to several trailers announcing "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 as well as its September 13 release date, Nickelodeon recently uploaded two commercials, one with the "premieres at Friday" caption and the other with "premieres tonight" captions.

Due to the early appearance of these commercials, many "Legend of Korra" became confused, thinking that perhaps the premiere date had been changed to today, August 30.

But, this is most likely Nickledeon preparing promos to air just prior to the September 13 release date, and one the day of the premiere.

"This is just an example of Nickelodeon looking to the future, but getting a little excited and jumping the gun," writes The Legend of Korra Online founder Keval.

"I have no idea why Nickelodeon posted these two videos as they have only caused confusion so far. No matter the reason, fans now have an early look at the commercials they'll be seeing in about a week's time."

One thing that is interesting about these commercials is that they use the word "episodes," not "episode" while talking about the September 13.

"'The Legend of Korra!' Brand new episodes begin tonight at 7!" says the promo voiceover.

This could be an indication of the earlier rumor regarding the Book 2 premiere being a one-hour, two-episode affair. However, it could also be a bigger context of addressing the brand new episodes of Book 2 as a whole.

With the release date drawing closer, only time will tell.
