Prepare For The Legend Of Zelda Wind Waker HD With The Story Trailer And Hero Mode Video: October 4 Release Date Confirmed

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD will be hitting shelves October 4, and fans have a chance to check out what's in store with the newly released story trailer, as well as the hero mode video.

"A sister kidnapped. A hero awakened. An ocean full of adventure awaits. Catch a sneak peek of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD in this story trailer!" writes the official description of the story trailer.

Check out the nostalgic Wind Waker in full awesome HD in the trailer below!

This is, of course, in anticipation of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD's release date on October 4, which has been confirmed by Nintedo in an official press release, according to MTV.

The HD remake will arrive for the Wii U at a price of $49.99.

And one thing fans can enjoy, especially if they've played Wind Waker before, is Hero Mode, which significantly increases the difficulty of gameplay.

In a new trailer released by Nintendo, one can compare the differences between regular difficulty and hero mode.

In hero mode, Link receives twice the amount of damage, and recovery hearts are no longer available in pots, tall grass, and enemies.

This means that Link can only regain health through creating potions and capturing fairies.
