Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth UPDATE: ‘Hunger Games’ Actor Mortified By Fiancée’s MTV VMAs Performance, Now Urged By Friends To End Engagement

No one can blame Australian Actor Liam Hemsworth if he finds himself furious with fiancée Miley Cyrus after her recent "twerking" performace at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013.

Hemsworth met her wife-to-be while filming 'One Last Song', the time when Cyrus's image was not yet far from her Disney star persona. While he has not yet released an official statement, a source tells Showbiz Spy that the 'Hunger Games' actor feels humiliated:  "Liam really does care about Miley, but her racy new look and sort of ghetto attitude isn't exactly what he signed up for.Her VMA performance absolutely mortified him and he couldn't be more embarrassed. He doesn't really see anything sexy about what she did on stage."

Apart from dancing in a provocative manner, the 'Hannah Montana' actress appeared to flirt with singer Robert Thicke onstage.

The Aussie heartthrob's friends are not proud as well of Cyrus's performance. Thinking that she might hurt Hemsworth's reputation, the concerned friends are now urging the actor to distance himself from the controversial pop star.

"It's not just Liam that Miley is pushing away. His entire team is urging him ti part ways with her because she's nothing but negative for his reputation and career. Liam is a serious actor with a growing career, while Miley has just turned into a joke. It's pretty much over. He knows he can't stay with her when this is who she's become. He doesn't want to babysit her anymore. He has to move on," adds the source.

The 'Can't Be Tamed' singer previously promised her beau that she would ditch her "white trash" look and go back to her old ways.

If Hemsworth will give in and follow what his friends say, then Cyrus will not only end up with negative publicity but also with a failed engagement.
