Lindsay Lohan’s Nude Photos LEAKED To Promote ‘The Canyons’ But Film Director Mad At Her For Not Attending Venice Film Festival

Lindsay Lohan was supposed to join the cast of 'The Canyons' at the 70th Venice Film Festival to promote the erotic thriller. However, the 27-year-old actress did not show up which clearly disappointed Director Paul Schrader.

The director even hinted about the ordeal that they went through in hiring the actress: "For the last 16 months I've been hostage, by own choosing, to  a very talented but unpredictable actress. She was supposed to be here today, she said she would be, but she is not."

 Despite Schrader's displeasure, he has praised the 'Mean Girls' actress for "stepping up very hard" for the role. He has similarly acknowledged how exhausting the acting process was for the actress.

Lohan plays the love interest of a Los Angeles-based movie producer portrayed by adult movie actor James Deen. The pair then engages themselves in intense sexual encounters with several couples that they have found on the Internet.

Nude photos of Lindsay Lohan have been leaked as well. Such photos came straight from the film which has been shown on *video-on-demand* and iTunes.

Lohan's publicist did not say the reason for the sudden cancellation. The actress has just completed her court-ordered rehabilitation stay in July.
