Princess Diana Film 2013: Ex-Lover Of The Princess Claims The Film Is Inaccurate And Based On Gossip

This year, a film portraying the life of Princess Diana will be released starring blonde beauty Naomi Watts. While many cannot wait to have a glimpse of her hardships and victories, the Princess of Wales's former lover accused the film to be inaccurate and unreliable.

The 54-year-old heart surgeon Hasnat Khan had a well-documented relationship with the princess between 1995 and 1997. Although he has not yet seen the film, he already told the Mail that its sources knew nothing about the real story: "[The film's story came from] Diana's friends talking about a relationship that they didn't know much about, and some of my relatives who didn't know much about it either. It is all based on hypotheses and gossip."

One of the film's concentrations is the princess's affair with Khan which abruptly came to an end before the tragic car crash that took her life. Prior to her much publicized death, the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry allegedly wanted to marry Khan. However, the relationship ended due to the cardiologist's inability to commit to a marriage that will surely be hounded by the press.

According to Khan, the movie stills alone were enough to prove that the filmmakers did not do their homework well: "I could tell immediately those were never our mannerisms at all, with my hands folded behind the back and all that. You could tell from that picture that it is all just presumed about how we would behave with each other, and they have got it completely wrong."

Expectedly, when asked if he would go see the movie, the cardiothoracic surgeon who now works at Basildon University Hospital in Essex said, "There is no way I will watch it. There's no way I am going to go anywhere near it, not now or ever."

The film 'Diana' is scheduled for release on September 20 in the United Kingdom. Release for other countries will shortly follow.
