Taiwanese Singer Jeannie Hsieh Copies Ke$ha, Lady Gaga? Single 'Sister' Gains Nearly 8 Million Views With Unicorn Motif

It seems Lady Gaga and Ke$ha are not the only ones in love with unicorns, as Taiwanese pop singer Jeannie Hsieh is also using the imagery in her latest single, "Sister."

The love of unicorn has long been popularized by Lady Gaga, who has done numerous photo shoots inspired by the mythical creature. She even has a song called "Highway Unicorn" on her last album "Born This Way."

But, Ke$ha took the idea to another level with her music video for "Blow."

The video, much like Jeannie Hsieh's music video, utilizes unicorn heads on top of human bodies, and the similarity is noticeable.

Since the release of the music video for "Sister," Jeannie Hsieh has garnered nearly 8 million views on YouTube, no doubt in part due to the outrageous music video and electronic sound.

But is Hsieh's inspiration taking a step too close to Ke$ha and Lady Gaga to be original?

Currently, Lady Gaga is gearing up for the release of her newest album "Artpop," with new single "Applause" impacting radio waves as we speak.

Ke$ha, on the other hand, has stayed relatively quiet, with an upcoming collaboration album with the Flaming Lips tentatively titled "Lipsha" reportedly in the works.
