The planned marriage between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had already been the subject of break up rumors, with the two appearing separately much of the time and living apart, as Miley went out without her engagement ring.

Liam Hemsworth was recently spotted in London without his fiancé Miley Cyrus.  He is reported to be hanging out with his brother. 

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth reportedly had a fight the night of the Miley Cyrus MTV VMA twerking performance, according to a source for Hollywood Life: "Miley and Liam had an argument the day of the show. She was really upset and she took it all out onstage, so the performance got even crazier than they had planned because Miley was really amped up."

"When she fights with Liam, she acts out and gets even more rebellious, and that came out on stage, but she's not sorry.  She made a big impact and that was the goal. She did warn Liam that the show was going to be wild but even she didn't know just how wild it was going to be."

A source told Radar Online Liam Hemsworth's feelings about fiancé Miley Cyrus' VMA twerking performance, and the possibility of a Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth break up: "Liam really does care about Miley, but her racy new look and sort of ghetto attitude isn't exactly what he signed up for."

"Her VMA performance absolutely mortified him and he couldn't be more embarrassed. He doesn't really see anything sexy about what she did on stage."
