American Idol Judges Confirmed With Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, And Harry Connick Jr [VIDEO].: Jennifer Hudson Moves On To Winnie Mandela Movie

Despite the recent "American Idol" judges turnover turmoil, the season 13 judging panel has been finalized with Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr.

Keith Urban remains the sole returning judge from the previous season after the exit of Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, and Randy Jackson.

However, according to LA Times, Jackson will serve as an in-house mentor, despite not being on the judges panel for the first time since the series' inception.

"'American Idol' has always been about discovering the next singing superstar, and next season our judging panel will deliver a most impressive combination of talent, wisdom and personality to do just that: Jennifer Lopez, the triple-threat global superstar who loves and whom 'Idol' fans love; Harry Connick Jr., a bona-fide musical genius and fantastic 'Idol' mentor whose honesty and expertise can help turn these hopefuls into stars; Keith Urban, a multi-Grammy-winning artist who was such a positive force on the show last season," states Fox chairman of entertainment Kevin Reilly.

"We are also very excited to have our friend Randy Jackson now in a new role as mentor, and the captain of our team - the heart and soul of 'Idol' - Ryan Seacrest returning as host."

In addition, it appears Jennifer Lopez is not just returning to the judges panel for any chum change, but a whopping $17.5 million!

But what about Jennifer Hudson, the other name that has been prominent throughout judges discussions this year?

The singer/movie star is doing just fine, with a new biopic "Winnie Mandela" ready to drop this year.
