Android Apps Free Download: Blackberry Messenger Comes To Android, Soon To Be Available For Download From Play Store

On their way on becoming a niche company, Blackberry has finally developed the BBM (Blackberry Messenger) app for Android as well as iOS.

In a video released to GSM Arena, a beta version of the BBM app is being tested in an Android device. If you are a Blackberry OS fan, you will notice that most of the app's features resemble the manufacturer's BB10. You will also notice that it tries its best to hide any visible features of the Android system.

The app also boasts some neat features which would make chatting and managing messages convenient. When you swipe to the right, you will see a variety of options including contacts, chats, groups, updates, and invites.

Like most advanced apps nowadays, the BBM app also supports NFC (near-field communication) so you are able to tap your phone to other phones with the BBM app when sharing and transfering contact details.

Overall, the beta version of the BBM app is indeed a great step for the company that is seeking for some good news at least before the end of the year.

However, Blackberry better make sure that it would be worth the wait for users who are already enjoying dozens of messaging apps which include Line, Kakao Talk, Viber, and WhatsApp.

There are still not exact dates when the manufacturer will release its own app in the Android market.

Here's the video, and see for yourself.
