‘Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate’ Release Date In Europe Fixed For September 6; Free-To-Play Version, ‘Core Fighters’ Available On PS3 [TRAILER]; Gamers To Unlock 231 Costumes

Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate release date in Europe is set for September 6.

After the release of Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate in North America yesterday, September 3, European fans are now excited with the arrival of the game in their region.

As posted by Connected Digital World, TECMO KOEI Europe stated that Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate release date will already be this coming Friday, September 6. The fighting game will be available in European retailers for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360.

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will feature new modes including Team Fighter, allowing the players to create a squad made of seven characters, as reported by VG 24/7. There will also be a much improved Tutorial mode as well as the 2V2 Tag Mode. New characters are also added to Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate such as the past members, Ein and Leon; Momiji and Rachel from Ninja Gaiden; and Jacky from Virtua Fighter.

Moreover, Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will also have a free-to-play version, titled "Core Fighters", which will only be available for PlayStation 3 owners. Watch the trailer of Core Fighters below:

As for more good news about Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, aside from the 231 costumes to unlock in the game, players can get one more bonus costume, if they get the September 19 issue of Famitsu magazine. According to the post from Siliconera, the magazine will give its reader a code for Kasumi, which can give her a "a sporty look with a camisole, short pants, and sneakers." This additional costume will work for the PS3 version of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate.
