Kelly Ripa debuted her new bob haircut on the second episode of the new season of "Live With Kelly and Michael," and fans love her short blonde haircut.

After the Labor Day weekend, Kelly Ripa tweeted: "Back in the saddle........with a new cut!"

Perhaps she wanted a fresh new look for the new season of her talk show "Live With Kelly and Michael."

Kelly Ripa, 42, swapped her mid-length, textured blonde style for an even shorter blonde bob on the show, wearing a white tank top that drew attention to her short hairdo, The Daily Mail reports.

Her haircut is a sleek style, which ends just below her chin, and shows that the bob haircut is still modern and in style for fall 2013.

Fans of Kelly Ripa and her show also took to Twitter to tweet their support of her new hairstyle.

According to The Daily Mail, one fan wrote:  "I love, love, love your new 'do! Been wanting you to go shorter. Gorgeous!"

Another said on Twitter: "I absolutely LOVE Kelly's haircut! Best hairstyle. I've wanted to cut my hair like this and I think I might!"

The show's Instagram account posted a photo of Kelly Ripa posing with Demi Lovato, a featured guest from Tuesday's show, and co-host Michael Strahan, Us Weekly reports.

Fans have also commented on this Instagram photo, mostly gushing over how much they like it.

"Love love Kelly's hair," wrote one fan.

But there's one fan in particular that doesn't support Kelly's new haircut: her mom. Ripa revealed on Tuesday's show that her mother prefers when her hair is long, E! News reports.

Kelly and Michael were also celebrating the one-year anniversary of their morning talk show, after a hiatus this summer.
