Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast: A petition comes out to demand that Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam be replaced as the roles of Ana Steele and Christian Grey for Alexis Bledel and Matt Bomer.

On Monday, author E.L. James of the original book made the announcement of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast, which caused uproar by fans who are not fans of these choices.

Nearly 18,000 have already signed the petition for a new Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast as for those who have read the trilogy of books, want Bledel and Bomer.

The petition read: "Matt Bomer is the PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF CHRISTIAN GREY AND ALEXIS BLEDEL IS THE PERFECT ACTRESS TO REPRESENT ANASTASIA STEELE and if THEY ARE NOT, NOBODY WILL BE And I read the whole trilogy and I can assure that Matt is the perfect actor for this movie and Alexis too. So please PLEASE, all of the GREYsessed and Bomerettes in the world NEED those actors. They always will be for us the Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. WE CAN DO ANYTHING GUYS, ANYTHING."

Alexis Bledel played Rory Gilmore in the series "Gilmore Girls" as well as Lena Kailgaris in both of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films. Matt Bomer was in "Magic Mike" as well as a star on the series "White Collar."

A source also told E! News that James is "very happy" about the selection of Hunnam, saying, "She is obsessed with Charlie's work!"
