Anna Chapman, Spy, Walks Off TV Interview Over Questions About Edward Snowden Twitter Proposal

Anna Chapman, the spy who proposed to Edward Snowden on Twitter, doesn't want to talk about it.

Anna Chapman was interviewed by NBC's Richard Engel and said she didn't want to discuss her Twitter marriage proposal to Edward Snowden.

Edward Snowden was charged with espionage by the U.S. government for leaking NRA documents about electronic snooping. Snowden was living at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport for five weeks before he was granted a one year asylum by Russia on Aug. 1.

Anna Chapman is the famous sexy Russian ex-spy who was deported from the United States in 2010.  Since being deported, Anna Chapman hosts her own television show called "Mysteries of the World." Rumors also circulated that Anna Chapman was having an affair with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On June 27, 2010, Anna Chapman was arrested along with nine others on suspicion of working for a Russian-sponsored spy ring. The sexy secret agent reinvented herself as a TV personality and celebrity back in Russia.

When NBC's Richard Engel asked Anna Chapman about the Twitter marriage proposal to National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, she said "I'm not going to discuss this."

Minutes after the questions, Anna Chapman abruptly ended the interview, saying "OK, the interview is finished. I'm sorry."

After Anna Chapman was arrested and deported she posed for a sexy photo shoot for Maxim Magazine and hit Moscow's catwalks. Chapman also began hosting a Russian TV show about aliens and ghosts called "Mysteries of the World."

Richard Engel of NBC News asked "You lived a very mysterious life. One you still don't like talking about. And now you're on television... Does that seem strange to you?"

Anna Chapman answered "I'm a very private, discreet person and I still don't do many interviews because I just don't like to share. I don't believe that people would be interested in knowing about somebody's life."

Engel asked "Are you married? Do you have a boyfriend? Do you have a social life?"

Acknowledging her fame, Anna Chapman answered "I'm not married -- if I was married, everybody would know."

But when Engel asked Chapman about the July 3 marriage proposal tweet, Anna Chapman said

"I don't want to discuss America. I'm sorry. I think (the interview is) done because it's not going the right way."

Engel admitted that Chapman told NBC that she didn't want to talk about her private life. Anna Chapman was there to talk about her new television show. Engel asked Anna Chapman about the Twitter proposal anyway. Engel told the Today Show that the interview only lasted 5 or 6 minutes.
