In recent Katy Perry news, the pop star admitted to being yelled at by the infamous Barbara Walters after showing up late for her "Top 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011" interview.

When I got there, I apologized immediately, but then she said to me, 'You know, I've only ever waited for one other person this long, and you know who that person was? Judy Garland. You know how she turned out, right?' "I was like, 'Oh, snap! Yes, b**ch!' I think it's the coolest thing that Barbara Walters shaded (trashed) me," Perry told Billboard magazine.

The interview took place only weeks before she filed for divorce to end her one-year marriage with comedian Russell Brand. The "Roar" singer revealed that she should've pulled out of the interview altogether due to the problems she was facing in her personal life.

Getting word of this information, Walters was triggered to address Perry on her talk show "The View" with an apology.

"Katy, if I made you feel at all unhappy, during a time when you were obviously unhappy, and I didn't know, I'm sorry, but you can't always know!"
