Selena Gomez Boyfriend 2013 Hopeful The Wanted Nathan Sykes? Isn't that Ariana Grande's Man?

News has recently surfaced that Ariana Grande's man Nathan Sykes from The Wanted hoped to be Selena Gomez's rumored boyfriend.




Before he made it official with Grande, Sykes told We Love Pop magazine that he had a thing for Gomez and wanted the opportunity to be linked up with her in the celebrity gossip.




He was envious of his bandmate Max George, who is allegedly dating Adam Levine's supermodel ex-girlfriend Nina Agdal, for constantly having rumored girlfriends.




“Now this is why I’m so jealous of Max," said Sykes. “He follows someone on Twitter, then he is in the tabloids saying he is in a relationship. I started following the Selena Gomez and nothing. Where is my relationship?!”




Then again, Sykes admitted being Gomez's rumored boo might not be a situation he would want to be in since he is friends with Justin Bieber, who he also shares a manager with.




“To be honest, I always liked Selena, but I really did not want to go that side because Justin would kill me," said Sykes. "“I would probably receive a call from [our mutual manager] Scooter [Braun] telling me to stay away!”




Sykes also mentioned how he almost ran into the "Come And Get It" singer at a Justin Timberlake concert. He said his "jaw dropped."




“I must have looked like a complete idiot. My friends were like, ‘Just say hi,’ but I could not even talk to her," said the "Walks Like Rihanna" vocalist. “But that’s how I am, I’m very, very nervous around girls that I really like. I need to improve my game."
