Farrha Abraham Backdoor Teen Mom didn't get in the "high six figures" for her sex tape - it turns out she may have gotten as little as $10,000.
Farrah Abraham Backdoor Teen Mom has made false claims about her sex tape before - claiming that it was a private personal sex tape made with porn star James Deen. Deen refuted those statements, saying that he was hired for the tape.
According to Kevin Blatt, a professional celebrity sex tape broker who spoke to Fox 411, Farrah Abraham Backdoor Teen Mom got far less than she claimed: "It is what they offer every celebrity, not a million dollars."
"In reality she (Abraham) got $10,000 upfront and 30 percent of sales, minus the cost of production. The entire celebrity sex video genre is a lot of unsubstantiated marketing with very little truth behind it.... It's all publicity. It's all hype."
It sounds like even if Farrah Abraham Backdoor Teen Mom was promised more money, she may never see it, according to another porn star:
"Vivid told me they would give $125,000 and 25 percent of the back end, all the sales that are made," Star of Real Jasmine, Jasmine Waltz, is quoted as saying. "Basically, you'll never see the back end after advertisement. You won't get the money. It's a very untrustworthy business. Lawrence Fishburne's daughter got burned really, really bad. She got $60,000 dollars and never saw another penny."
While celebrity sex tapes like Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian did well for the stars and the marketplace, celebrity sex tapes may be seeing the economic phenomenon of diminishing returns.
Farrah Abraham Backdoor Teen Mom has gotten creative in supporting herself and her daughter, making the James Deen sex tape and also making a mold of her body parts. Hopefully she is able to support her family despite the claimed low price of her sex tape.
