Miley Cyrus Bangerz Reviews Are In [VIDEO] "Disjointed Mess" Or "Undeniable Pop"? Drive Singer Streams New Album A Week Early!

Miley Cyrus Bangerz reviews are in, and they are mixed.  Miley is surely by now used to being a polarizing pop figure after her naked video for Wrecking Ball and her infamous MTV VMA twerking performance, so differing opinions on her new album Bangerz probably won't phase her!

Jim Farber of the New York Daily News gives Bangerz 2/5 stars, saying Cyrus' latest effort feels like a "disjointed mess that seeks to provoke instead of delight."

"In the best hip-hop track, '4 X 4,' she offers a guest shot from Nelly, who rides the beat with a musicality she can't match," Farber says "Whenever Miley goes for such raw sexual moments, it sounds nearly as forced as that MTV performance looked."

However, many reviews lauded Miley for the pure pop power of her work and the emotion of her singing.

Billboard says in its Miley Cyrus Bangerz review that ""We Can't Stop" remains one of the more undeniable pop songs of 2013, with meme-able lyrics, delightfully zonked-out production from Mike WiLL Made-It and without a doubt the best intro of any summer smash."

Billboard also has positive praise for Wrecking Ball in its Miley Cyrus Bangerz review, saying "The power and purpose of "Wrecking Ball," Cyrus' first No. 1 single on the Hot 100 chart, is amplified after a handful of good-but-not-great love songs on "Bangerz." Although "Adore You" and "My Darlin'" showcased a young singer trying to mesh her revamped style with time-honored romantic tropes, "Wrecking Ball" is a blunt, bruising breakup song she immediately understands how to handle."

Describing the song FU featuring French Montana in its Miley Cyrus Banger album review, Billboard says: "Whoa, when did Miley Cyrus transform into Lady Gaga? This campy piano flare-up is the lone howler on "Bangerz," with lyrics ("Then I accidentally saw a few things in your cell/I even LOL'd, man I should've known") that will cause plenty of SMH-ing. French Montana's brief appearance on the track is just as inexplicable as the song itself."
