Bigfoot Video Evidence And DNA Sequencing Released By Scientists Who Claim Sasquatch Exists

On Monday the Sasquatch Genome Project held a news conference in Dallas to show exclusive footage from the long-awaited Erickson Project.

The team of researchers revealed a "never before seen HD video" of Bigfoot on Tuesday.

The group played clips that purported to show Sasquatch; they say they have DNA evidence.

"This was a serious study," Ketchum said of the program, which cost $500,000 to complete.

Short, grainy clips showed human-like, hairy figures in Kentucky, bumbling around wooded areas.

The group, The Sasquatch Research Project has been collecting evidence for five years. They're led by Dr. Melba Ketchum, who is a veterinarian and founded her own genetics research company.

The Sasquatch Genome Project has released a 5-year study and genomic sequencing of Sasquatch DNA entitled "Novel North American Hominins, Next Generation Sequencing of Three Whole Genomes and Associated Studies". The paper passed scientific peer review in January and was published in February of this year.

They have partnered with The Erickson Project, an effort led by Adrian Erickson. They claim they have captured the "definitive video and DNA evidence from the elusive Sasquatch."

"Researcher Dennis Pfohl... personally captured video and collected DNA samples from Sasquatch individuals," the Erickson group added in a written statement.

The group claims that footage captured in Kentucky in 2005 shows a female Sasquatch that is sleeping.

During Tuesday's news conference, they played several clips - most of them very short and grainy - that they say is video evidence helping to prove that Bigfoot is real. It will be released a documentary in the future, they say.

According to the group, footage captured in Kentucky in 2005 shows a female Sasquatch sleeping. An extended version of the video is expected to be released in a future documentary.

"We've all had experiences that changed our lives," said Pfohl, a Colorado-based researcher. He says his own experiences have lead him to prove what he believes is true.

Unfortunately, a skeptical public and science may not exactly be with him.
