Super Smash Bros 4 Characters: Sonic Makes Its Way Back To Nintendo, Trumps Other Characters Except Mega Man [PHOTOS]

In an announcement by Nintendo yesterday, Sonic the Hedgehog is once again included in Super Smash Bros 4 characters. And it seems he is leaving everyone in the dust. 

In several pictures accompanying the announcement, Sonic beats his rivals with ease. He easily blocks a Mario punch, and Link gets left behind. On the other hand, poor Luigi has no idea where he is or what he is about to face. 

Stil, Sonic may have met his match with Mega Man, though we still could not see who's gaining the upper hand based on the picture. 

With Sonic's addition to the roster, Super Smash Bros 4 now has a total of 17 characters. 

Last week, Peach Princess also made it as one of the chracters with a rumored engagement with Mario. 

Super Smash Bros 4 will launch next year and will be available for the Nintendo Wii U.
