Dallas Latos attacked by fan: The wife of Cincinnati Reds pitcher Mat Latos alleges that she was punched in the head three times following the wild card playoff game Tuesday that Cincy won.

In what Pittsburgh police said was a 20-30 person altercation that was mostly verbal, Dallas Latos claims the opposite. She said she was attacked by a fan during the incident.

Police do not intend to file charges, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, although Dallas Latos is free to file a private criminal complaint against the alleged fan that attacker her. I

n a press conference, Sgt. John Fisher said that police were treating the incident, which occurred in PNC Park's Budweiser Bowtie Bar late in the game as a "he said/she said" altercation and made no arrests. Alcohol was a factor, Fisher said, and Latos and her group had left the area reserved for players' wives before the incident began.
