iPad 5 Specs Rumors: Front Panel Allegedly Confirms Touch ID For Upcoming Apple Tablet
Apple has been very busy for the past few months. Almost a month ago, the Cupertino company unveiled its two new iPhones, and some reports are pointing toward another event this October. One of the more interesting iPad 5 specs rumors we came across with shows the tablet could sport a Touch ID fingerprint sensor as well.
According to a report by GSM Arena, Unbox Therapy found out that the Touch ID home button of an iPhone 5s fits perfectly to the tablet's front panel. They even made a video to prove that the home buttons of previous iPads and the iPhone 5 did not fit the spot in the front cover.

In addition, recent rumors also claim that Touch ID would also land on Apple's next generation iPad mini 2, though stocks may not be readily available this year, sources say.
