Taylor Swift Talks Boyfriend Problems And Being Single: Goes Shopping With Demi Lovato

Taylor Swift may be boyfriend free and single right now, but it doesn't mean the singer is avoidant of the ups and downs of the subject.

In talking with Us Magazine, Taylor describes her opinion on boyfriend dealbreakers.

"If you have enough natural chemistry with someone, you overlook every single thing that you said would break the deal. I've seen my friends take someone back after they've cheated because they fit perfectly," says Taylor Swift.

"But I don't know, because I've never had a perfect fit with someone.'"

But it seems despite her former boyfriend woes which include a laundry list of male celebrities, Taylor Swift says she is "single and happy."

"Well the way it works, as I've learned recently is if you reach a point in your career where things are going very well, public perception needs a 'Yeah, but'. Like, 'Yeah, but she's been on a lotta dates apparently.' 'Yeah, but I hear she's crazy,'" says Swift according to ABC.

"I think you'll find it has a lot to do with being a woman," she explained. "And I resent that. That there has to be some downside to your personality or lifestyle if you're a woman and successful. But I'm not gonna say to my guy friends, 'No, I can't go to lunch because people will say we're dating.' I just reject the idea I have to change the way I live my life."

And despite intense media scrutiny over her next boyfriend, the person she's choosing to be seen with is Demi Lovato.

According to the Daily Mail, Swift and Lovato were recently spotted shopping at Barneys in Beverly Hills, just before Lovato took her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama to the same store.
