Michael Jordan schools OJ Mayo in 2006 when the 25-year-old Milwaukee Bucks star challenged arguably the greatest basketball player of all time on the b-ball court.

In 2006, a young OJ Mayo attended a basketball camp run by Michael Jordan. MJ revealed in a promotional interview for NBA 2K14 that Mayo talking trash to the six-time NBA champion. This when Mayo got schooled.

"I'm playing in my camp against OJ Mayo - he was a top high school kid coming out. I had never met him - first time. In front of my camp, he starts this thing about 'you can't guard me, you can't do this,' Michael Jordan said referring to the 2006 day that Mayo was schooled, according to him.

This is when the other campers backed off and watched. It was time for a little one-on-one pitting the five-time NBA MVP, six-time Finals MVP, member of the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team against the kid from Huntington, W.V. who was planning on jumping from high school to the pros.

"Finally I just said 'you may be the best high school player, but I'm the best player in the world.' So from this point on, it's a lesson. And from that point on, it was a lesson. He never won a game. I posted him up, I did everything," Jordan said.

The ever-competitive Jordan let him have it, according to his own words. Since that day, MJ went on to become and still is "Managing Member of Basketball Operations," with full control over the basketball side of the operation of the Charlotte Bobcats. OJ Mayo has played on three teams, though has become a serviceable player in the league.
