Since her half-naked selfie threw the Nickelodeon Star into a viral overdrive, McCurdy has been keeping herself busy with a number of projects. According to Beauty World and News, Jennette McCurdy was named 2014 brand ambassador for Tamagotchi.

Deadline reported that there was discord on the Sam & Cat set. McCurdy and Grande sometimes showedup late.
SiriusXM radio personality Cristina Palumbo says McCurdy's naked selfies could even help her career, "Every star that has done this has been handsomely rewarded in the long run as far as fame is concerned. It can't hurt her. I don't think anything can hurt you nowadays. Ken Shaford agreed "It's a good way for a young star to transition into being seen as a more adult star."
