Jordin Sparks slipped into an orange and turquoise bikini for a day by the pool on Wednesday, May 14.

"It's so nice outside!! Perfect for relaxation & meditating on the good stuff!" Jordin Sparks captioned one of her Instagram photos. "#orange4wendy My bathing suit top! I'm an Arizona girl through and through! I love the sun!! (Safely, of course[)]," she added alongside the other.

According to Life & Style magazine, #Orange4Wendy is an initiative started by Jason Derulo's girlfriend to honor her mom's best friend, Wendy, who passed away from Melanoma in May 2008.

"In the years since then, the singer has worn orange-Wendy's favorite color-to honor her late friend and spread awareness," Life & Style reports.

As we previously reported, Jordin Sparks, 24, told Today's Jenna Bush Hager that her weight loss efforts were successful because she made her health a priority, E! News reports.

"I was comfortable with how I looked before, but it was about really focusing on become healthier," Jordin Sparks said. "And then my body changed, which was awesome. But it wasn't about being a size zero, or anything like that."

Through exercise and changing her diet, Jordin lost an incredible 50 pounds in 18 months, according to E! News.

"I fluctuate a bit. I go anywhere from 155 to 161," she said. "There we go! There it is in a box, in a nutshell, right from my mouth. That it is how much I weigh, and I'm okay with it. It feels really good," the 6-foot beauty said with a smile.

Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Jason Derulo, 24, told Access Hollywood Live that though he isn't engaged to the "American Idol" star, they will get to that point "when the time is right and the stars are aligned perfectly."

Jason admitted that he feels public pressure about getting engaged to Jordin.

"I always have to tell myself to not allow that to interfere in the beauty that we have, and I hope that she knows that as well," he explained.

"What we have is amazing and what we have is forever, so there is no rush," he added.
