Upcoming Samsung Tablets 2014: Freshly-Launched Android Slates With LTE Headed For AT&T

In spite the company's huge success in the smartphone category, there are still a bunch of upcoming Samsung tablets for 2014 which are aimed at both the enterprise and the mass markets. And in a new report, a number of Android slates are rumored to hit AT&T in the next couple of weeks.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a number of Samsung tablets are now heading to AT&T to be offered in the carrier's numerous subscription plans.

In case you stay tuned during the CES 2014 in Las Vegas, the Korean tech giant announced the biggest Android tablet today, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, and the LTE version is now available in AT&T at $799 on contract, though you can also have it with free downpayment, but $45 a month for the next 24 months.

The Android slate packs a whopping 12.2-inch display with QHD (2560 x 1600) resolution, quad-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, and 3GB of RAM. Also on board is a huge 9,500mAh battery Adreno 330 and Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.

On the other hand, more budget-conscious Android fans can get the recently launched Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 which made its debut a couple of weeks ago. The Samsung slate packs a 10.1-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, 1.5GB of RAM, a quad-core CPU, 16GB of internal memory and a 6,800mAh battery.

Both the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and the Tab 4 10.1 get an 8-megapixel shooter at the back.

The Kitkat powered Samsung slate can be yours for $379.99 on contract, or get it free with $24 monthly subscription in 2 years.

Samsung is really trying to cover as much of its market (the entire world) as possible before Apple announces its new iOS powered slates, possibly during the WWDC 2014 this week, or until September.
