LG G3 Specs, Release Date: New Android Flagship Notches 100,000 Unit Sales In 5 Days

When the LG G3 release date was held last week, it was all worth the wait as most of the rumored and unofficial features and specs became a reality.

And now, the LG flagship is doing very good in its home country in South Korea, where it rivals Samsung's Galaxy S5 and a number of notable OEMs with high-end devices as well.

So how's the LG G3 sales during its first 5 days? According to a report by GSM Arena, the tally has already reached 100,000.

In the report, the LG flagship phone is able to outclass its Samsung rival by as much as 20,000 sales each day. When the Samsung Galaxy S5 launched in Korea, it reportedly sold Galaxy S5 handsets at 7-8k a day, which was pretty impressive already.

In the GSM Arena report, the G3 predecessor, the LG G2 sold 10,000 each day in the first couple of days after release. That just means, the Korean manufacturer has done a great job with the G3 both in terms of teases and specs, which saw an increase in sales by over 100 percent.

Unfortunately, only Korea can enjoy this monster Android phone as it is the sole country where the LG G3 is available right after its announcement last week.

LG should begin the release of its G3 flagship in Europe, the US and other markets as well in order to get the most out of its 'hype' status which has obviously not yet faded even after it was launched.

In case you are wondering how the LG G3 achieved such a feat, then let the specs speak to you. The Android flagship packs a 5.5-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a quad-core CPU running at 2.5GHz, a Snapdragon 801 chipset, and a 13MP shooter at the back paired with dual-LED flash and a focus laser sensor.
