Resident Evil News: Capcom To Unveil New RE Title At E3 2014? Upcoming Game Not The RE7 But Exclusive For PS4

Fresh Resident Evil news suggest that a new iteration of the survival horror video game will be unveiled soon.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2014 is scheduled to take place next week and a post from a NeoGAF user mentioned a "juicy rumor" about the next Resident Evil game.

According to "Xpliskin," the Resident Evil title, which is "similar to Revelations" will be revealed at E3 2014. It was also noted that the upcoming RE game is not the highly-rumored Resident Evil 7.

Furthermore, as cited on Latino Post, the Neogaf post contains screenshots from News Bot who shared that 3 characters will return to the next Resident Evil game.

"There are three returning characters. Two female and one male. Two haven't been seen in over a decade and one has never had an "in-game" appearance. Guess away. That's more than enough."

Moreover, a report from Latinos Post noted another Resident Evil rumors suggesting that Albert Wesker will appear in the game. Accordingly, this was later "confirmed" by an employee from Capcom who tweeted that the actor is going to the game studio.

Also, the latest Resident Evil news also hinted that the upcoming title that will soon be revealed is going to be a PS4-exclusive game. Capcom's only game for the PS4 is "Deep Down" which is going to be a free-to-play title. Also, the game studio has not announced Deep Down release date yet.

As for other related news about the Resident Evil developer, Capcom just announced the new titles that will be included in its lineup of games for E3 2014, as well as the playable titles that will be available during the event in Los Angeles.
