New Android Games 2014: Hitman GO Turns The Franchise Upside Down With A Board Game App, Still Loads Of Fun To Play

There are a number of new Android games this 2014 to pick if you are a casual gamer. But if you are the type of Android gamer who often buys top notch games from the Play Store, then you may just want to check out the new game from the Hitman franchise.

If you are a fan of the original Hitman game which is action-packed and really intense in terms of gameplay, then you may be disappointed at first glance with how Square Enix Ltd. handled it. The first person shooter is now a board game!

Immediately, a lot of Hitman fans would say that it would be a 'lot of waste', and 'not worth their time'. However, a post from Android Police, and more than 806 players of the game will certainly beg to disagree.

The new Hitman GO app which is currently available at the Play Store is a board game where you are Agent 47, and there are certain things you need to do for each 'board' or level. Some goals require you not to be seen, or you are asked to take down a guard, person, or no one at all.

And if you expected that the plastic looking figures would shoot, you are wrong. They won't. However, when you take down a particular piece of the board, it automatically topples over and is sent to the edge.

While the graphics is far from top notch quality, we think Square Enix Ltd. really purposed it to be this way. And it is certainly able to deliver the best-looking board game pieces on an Android device.

Like other strategy and puzzle games, there are also 'stars' for each level and you get all three if you achieve all of the objectives for that particular level.

However, you may cringe a bit once you know that the app costs $4.99 with in-app purchases inside. However, the game is definitely a fun app that will eat up all of your casual time.
