Meanwhile, a virtual remake for the popular car chase in the movie Terminator 2 was created by a group of GTA 5 players. The project was led by Youtube member, John Chapman and according to Eurogamer, the remake is an "almost shot-for-shot replica of James Cameron's original, though some close-ups had to be omitted due to the way the game's wide-angle camera is set up."

Chapman shared via his Youtube channel, "It mostly took a lot of time because I wanted to try to make it exact. Yes I may have missed some small scenes but damn we worked hard on this from the actual setting up, to the directing, to the editing."
