The Twins will counter with right-hander Kevin Correia, who has struggled to a 2-7 record this season with a 6.11 ERA in 12 starts.

Kevin Correia (2-7, 6.11 ERA) will be on the mound for Minnesota as he tries to bounce back from another bad start. He was handed a 4-0 lead during his last start against the Brewers, but he could not hold on and Minnesota lost the game, 8-5. For now, the Twins are committed to the keeping Correia in their starting rotation, according to MLB.com.

"Kevin's one of our starters," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. "He's paid good money to do that, and he's still gonna get paid no matter what, so he's one of our starters. We need him to be more consistent."

J.A. Happ (5-2, 4.12 ERA) will take the rubber for Toronto as he has been one of the surprises that have helped the Blue Jays to become one of the top teams in MLB this season. The left-hander started the season on the disabled list and followed with a stint in the bullpen, but he has posted a 5-2 record as a starter.

Kendrys Morales made his Twins debut on Monday, going 1-for-3 with a walk and strikeout as the designated hitter. Morales signed a one-year prorated deal with the Twins on Sunday and asked to play right away. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire left open the chance that Morales will play again Tuesday, depending on how he feels after Monday's game, according to MLB.com.

"I've never seen this before with a guy sitting out this long," Gardenhire said. "But he's been swinging out there so it's not like he's swinging cold turkey or coming out of a hospital bed."
