House Of Cards Season 3 Release Date Rumored For Summer 2015 [SPOILERS]: Cast Member Michael Kelly On Doug As Filming Begins This Month

As "House of Cards" season 3 begins filming this month, speculation on the release date has begun.

According to iDigitalTimes, several casting calls have gone out which require shooting availability from June 12 through July 15. These casting calls include an NSA Director and two news reporters.

If the previous season has been any indication, publications predict that the filming schedule will allows "House of Cards" season 3 to have a mid-2015 release date.

Meanwhile, spoilers confirm that two new characters will be seen on "House of Cards" season 3. Dr. Buzdar is a doctor in her 40's who is "very smart." E! Online also reports that Anto Ivonovich will be introduced, who is a "formidable" and "refined" Russian man.

But perhaps more pressing than the "House of Cards" season 3 release date is the fate of Doug, who was seen unconscious and pummeled with a rock at the end of season 2.

Recently, actor Michael Kelly visited the Huffington Post to an interview, where he was asked about the fate of Stamper.

"I don't know -- they haven't officially said," admitted Kelly. "And with television contracts, as an actor, when you sign those contracts you sign for a long time. So technically they still own me, but I don't know yet."

"I wanna know! You go to the writers' room and there are black tarps over everything. You don't get to know anything. I have my fingers crossed. It's my best job I've ever had and the greatest people I've ever worked with. We can be hopeful but if not, it was an incredible job."
