Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire [RUMORS]: Latios Spotted In E3 Trailer, Will Mega Latios And Latias Appear In ORAS?

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are making a big splash at E3, and there is one Pokemon in particular who is gaining interest—Latios.

There is a brand new Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailer out, and it highlights a lot of brand new Pokemon like Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, as well as Mega Swampert and Mega Sceptile.

But, there is one other legendary Pokemon in trailer which deserves some attention. Around the one-minute mark, we see the protagonist flying on the back of Latios.

This would appear insignificant at first, but much like Game Freak's set-up for Mega Evolution, nothing is an accident.

Die-hard fans know that among the hacked Pokemon discovered in Pokemon X and Y last year (including Diancie and Volcanion), there also appeared to be a Mega Evolution for Latias and Latios.

According to the infamous hacker Smealum, Mega Latios is a Dragon/Psychic dual-type with the ability Adaptability. Mega Latias, meanwhile, is a Dragon/Fairy Mega Evolution with the Multiscale ability.

Given that Latias and Latios are Hoenn Pokedex additions, if there is a Mega Evolution to be obtained for the pair, it will certainly be in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

As with Mega Swampert, Mega Sceptile, and Mega Diancie, Nintendo has confirmed there will be additional Mega Evolution added to the Hoenn remakes.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is scheduled to be released on November 21 in Japan and North America, and November 28 in Europe.
