Huawei Ascend P7 Crosses 1M Mark In Sales, Thanks To Its Super Slim Design And Impressive Specs

Announced in May but was only made available this month, the Huawei Ascend P7 is a stunning design both design-wise and as far as its specs are concerned.

So we are not at all surprised that recent reports state that it has already notched 1 million sales in just a couple of weeks in the market.

According to a recent report from GSM Arena, the smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer has easily reached millions of sales due to a perfect combination of both design and features.

Boasting a 6.5mm waistline, the Huawei Ascend P7 is among the slimmest in the industry today, but that did not hinder the device to get 2,500mAh battery for power.

While the feat is already impressive, the report says Huawei is not at all satisfied and aims higher - 10 million units in the first 12 months of the device.

After getting 1 million in the first couple of weeks, it certainly looks it can reach its goal. However, given that Huawei is still not a well-known manufacturer in the Western market, most of those sales could be coming from the manufacturer's home country itself.

In case you are wondering, the Huawei Ascend P7 packs a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, its own Kirin 910T chipset with four cores running at 1.8GHz, 2GB of RAM, and a 16GB internal memory.

Also on board the Huawei flagship is a microSD card slot, a 13MP primary camera at the back and an 8-megapixel shooter in front to manage selfies and video calls better. The phone runs on the latest Androif 4.4 Kit Kat version which is good for consumers who are already thinking about their use of the phone in the long run.

According to reports, the Huawei Ascend P7 will soon be available in other markets, initially around the Southeast Asian region at the start of July.
