‘Criminal Minds’ Season 10 Spoilers: ‘Client List’ Star Jennifer Love Hewitt Joins BAU; Fills In After Jeanne Tripplehorn’s Exit

"Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers allude to a new addition in characters as "Client List" star Jennifer Love Hewitt will join BAU as a series regular to fill in after Jeanne Tripplehorn's exit.

TVLine dished out "Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers when it revealed that Jennifer Love Hewitt will play the role of Kate Callahan, an undercover agent from the FBI who was transferred to the Behavioral Analysis Unit due to her "stellar work."

Showrunner Erica Messer told the website: "We're thrilled to introduce a new special agent by adding the very talented Jennifer Love Hewitt to our amazing cast. Many of us on the show have enjoyed working with her over the years and look forward to again. We have exciting storylines planned for her character and the entire BAU team as we head into our 10th season."

Jennifer Love Hewitt seems to be very busy with her TV career, USA Today noted, because aside from the "Criminal Minds," the 35-year-old actress also headlined "Ghost Whisperer" on CBS, and "The Client List" over at Lifetime network.

The new character of Kate Callahan will be introduced in "Criminal Minds" season 10 premiere.

Earlier, A.J. Cook (Jennifer Jareau) dished out "Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers toZap2it blog as she said that the first episode will pick up where they left off "in the middle of that shootout guns a blazing."

"We also learn a huge secret about one of the other characters that will forever change the face of the BAU," she said.

However, she declined to provide more "Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers but A.J. Cook added: "I know that Erica Messer, our showrunner will have a great plan. It's Season 10, its going to be a big season. I will say that how Season 9 ends will directly impact Season 10."
