Samsung Galaxy K Zoom Arrives In The US, Costs Only $450

The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is this year's version of the Galaxy S4 Zoom which launched last year. And looking at its specs, it certainly does not disappoint aside from the lower resolution HD (1280 x 720) screen.

A few months after it was announced, the device has finally arrived in the US market.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the camera-centric smartphone from Samsung has been spotted on eBay at only $449.99, which is far lower than its retail price on Amazon at $530 and other local retailers which offer the device for as much as $600.

Given that the eBay seller is in the US and the Galaxy K Zoom is only available for US citizens, this is actually the deal Android cameraphone lovers have been waiting for.

Here's the catch, the seller only sells a limited number of these smartphones, so if you are already decided to buy one, you may want to hurry up.

Compared to the Galaxy S4 Zoom which made its debut shortly following the Galaxy S4 unveiling last year, the Galaxy K Zoom is certainly an improved version.

The Android phone packs a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with only HD resolution, but it gets the Galaxy S5's 2GB of RAM in exchange, making it a snappy device with fast applications and tasks.

Also on board the K Zoom is a hexa-core CPU composed of four Cortex-A7 cores at 1.3GHz, and a dual-core Cortex-A15 clocked at 1.7GHz, all paired with Mali-400 GPU which may not function better than Adreno, but is still a capable graphics chip.

The highlight of the device is its 20.7MP primary shooter that has optical image stabilization, up to 10x optical zoom, and paired with Xenon and LED flash. In front of the device is a decent 2MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
