‘Scandal’ Season 4 Spoilers: Columbus Short Replaced? Casting Rumors Claim Larenz Tate A Frontrunner

"Scandal" season 4 spoilers are here and it seems Columbus Short's replacement is in the works, at least according to casting rumors which indicated that Larenz Tate will be added to the characters of the show.

The actor, who was reportedly booted out of the series for the ruckus at a restaurant where he threatened a man and his wife, told TMZ that he has no plans of coming back.

"They fired me by sending me a snap chat message. It was fast and it came quick. I almost missed the message because it came so quick," he said, adding that he will just concentrate on developing stand-up comedy act, along with other projects instead of coming back to "Scandal" season 4.

Twitter users are abuzz on who will replace Columbus Short's character Harrison, and one of the names that cropped up was Larenz Tate.

Larenz Tate addressed the rumors on "Wendy Williams Show" when the host told him that fans want him in "Scandal," he said he was flattered, although he sympathized with Columbus Short and how the whole thing went down.

"It's unfortunate that he's gone through some serious and tough times, but I'm happy with what I'm doing right now and that's 'Rush,'" Tate said.

Shonda Rhimes, meanwhile, said there's no plan of recasting Harrison. In a Twitter post, the show's creator wrote: "I've never heard of Eric West. Harrison is not being recast EVER. How about reporters CHECK THEIR SOURCES before running with a story?"

"Scandal" season 4 spoilers will revolve around Fitz and Mellie's relationship right after the death of their son.

Tony Goldwyn dished out "Scandal" season 4 spoilers to Celebified  as he said that Fitz and Mellie will become closer because "they've been through cataclysmic revelations about each other" which eventually ."

However, Olivia is not totally out of the picture as Tony Goldwyn said that they will still see each other.

"They know what makes the other one tick on the deepest level, and as insane, I think, as it sounds, she trusts him," he said.
