Upcoming Android Phones 2014: Oppo Will Release Audio-Centric Smartphone

Oppo is one of the newer brands that is providing quality upcoming Android phones for 2014 in the market, especially those who value design and quality.

After releasing its flagship device earlier this year, the Find 7 and Find 7a, as well as the new 'mini' version of its Oppo N1 handset with the swivel camera, the Chinese manufacturer is back once more. And this time, it targets the audiophile group of the market.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Oppo Indonesia has gone to its Twitter account to tease its upcoming smartphone. At the same time, its Chinese account also confirmed that more details would be unveiled in a matter of hours.

Oppo is considered as a minor player in the international smartphone industry, but it has already proven that it can sell phones, primarily in its home market in China where the competition is very stiff.

Now that the manufacturer could bring some new features to its smartphones, or release an accessory that would facilitate music playback options, then that could be a way for Oppo to be one step ahead of its counterparts.

Based on its previous product releases, we know that the Chinese manufacturer certainly knows what it is doing in terms of specs. When it was announced in March, the Find 7 is the best Android smartphone around, at least on paper. It packs a 5.5-inch display with QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution making it the second phone to get such resolution, only behind the Vivo Xplay 3S. The Oppo flagship also had a 3GB RAM, and a 13MP camera that can compress images and make them 50-megapixel images.

The N1 mini on the other hand, does not offer much in terms of specs as it is strictly a midranger. However, the swivel camera that made the N1 popular is still there. Unfortunately, camera resolution was retained at 13MP.

We are just worried with the pricing tendencies of the Chinese brand, which for the past year has seen significant increase.
