CBS Schedule Fall 2014 Unveiled: ‘Big Bang Theory’ Season 8 Premiere Plus Other Series Debuts Couch Potatoes Can Look Forward To

The CBS schedule fall 2014 has been unveiled and joining the lineup is a bunch of new series. The network will similarly kick off its brand new NFL Thursday football franchise on September 11. Such change is part of the network's "multi-phase rollout."

"The addition of Thursday Night Football provides the flexibility to strategically roll out our fall season in multiple waves, maximizing promotional platforms and scheduling opportunities to give our new and returning series the best possible launch," said CBS Entertainment chairman Nina Tassler.

The premiere week of the CBS schedule fall 2014 will likewise have a one-hour 'Big Bang Theory' season 8 pilot episode. Series fans will finally know whether Sheldon took the train to continue his soul-searching agenda.
