NBA Trade Rumors: Dion Waiters To Sixers As Part Of Kevin Love Trade? Are The Cavaliers Losing Too Much To Acquire The All-NBA Forward?

The NBA Trade rumors still revolve around Kevin Love, with the corollary trades that the Cleveland Cavaliers are making in order to please the Timberwolves. Dion Waiters may be the next to go. Are they giving away too much?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are poised to send the last two first overall picks to Minnesota, as well as a future first round draft pick. Now, it seems like they're going to send promising shooting guard Dion Waiters as well. Apparently, this is because Thaddeus Young is part of the T-Wolves wish list.

The report was broken by Fox Sports Ohio:

"On top of all that, there are league-wide whispers of a third team perhaps getting involved in a potential Cavs-Wolves deal, whispers of the 76ers possessing a strong interest in Cavs guard Dion Waiters, whispers of another major transaction on the way. Yeah. Unreal."

There's also this tweet:

After that, King James Gospel, a LeBron fan blog, affirms the report:

"Philly has been hot after Waiters for some time now and may see this as a chance to get a deal done that lands them the guard they covet. They have a crew of young players that could end up being one of the best and most interesting core group of players in NBA history, and adding Waiters to that mix only adds to the potential simmering in Philadelphia at the moment."

It is not known what the Cavs will get for Dion Waiters, but Minnesota wants to shed their bad contracts. Kevin Martin and JJ Barea are the names being floated. If the Cavs are losing Wiggins, Bennett and Waiters along with the draft pick, that might be a too much. There is a probability that the Cavs will send one of those players along with Waiters to Philly.

Are the Cavs giving way too much? Waiters used to be a problem player for the Cavs but they held on to him because of his talent. Now, they will just give him away to facilitate the Love trade.
