NBA Headlines: Who Are The Favorites For Upcoming Season's NBA Finals? Cavs, Bulls, Spurs And Heat In The Mix

This offseason, NBA Headlines focus on the change of landscape and shift of power within the league. And before the upcoming season begins, let's see which teams are favorite in terms of becoming title contenders. Of course, there will still be changes so this list of teams is not final.

Cleveland Cavaliers

After getting back LeBron James from the Miami Heat, the Cavs are now looking good to make it deep into the Playoffs, and depending on their superstars' mentoring skills, even the Finals. Cleveland is already a high-caliber team with tremendous upside in two top overall picks, and another two first overall picks in the last decade. The only missing piece is a scoring frontman, which is why they are pursuing Kevin Love from the Wolves.

Chicago Bulls

When the Bulls lost on Carmelo Anthony who returned to New York, everyone thought that they failed to rebuild this off-season. But in just a few weeks, the Bulls managed to get veteran Pau Gasol from the Lakers. Euro star Nikola Mirotic is finally going to play his first NBA game, and rookie Doug McDermott is said to have the shooting touch. Like the Cavs, the Bulls are reportedly pursuing Love to team up with Gasol and reigning defensive player of the year Joakim Noah in one of the scariest NBA frontcourts in recent memory.

Miami Heat

With the departure of James, Miami looked like a defeated giant. But thanks to Heat president Pat Riley who managed to sign two-way veteran Luol Deng, and role players Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger. Chris Bosh has not averaged more than 20points in his four years in Miami, but this time he might just bring back the old Raptor in him. Dwyane Wade is also returning but more as a motivational leader.

San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs did the best thing they could do to win the NBA title next year - bring back the guys who brought them last year's ring. San Antonio signed Patty Mills, Boris Diaw and retained their long-time big man Tim Duncan in a question to get his 6th NBA championship. Of course, the Spurs will not be the Spurs without coach Gregg Popovich who has renewed his contract.
