The NBA Trade Rumors are stalled because of the Kevin Love trade. The Cleveland Cavaliers recently signed rookie Andrew Wiggins and now they have to wait 30 days before the deal is finalized. Minnesota can choose which package is the best, but they have a new trade demand-Thaddeus Young of the Philadelphia 76ers.

This is the new twist in the two month tale of Kevin Love leaving Minnesota. The All-NBA forward is rumored to have approved Cleveland as a destination simply because LeBron James is there. Now, the task is to please Minnesota and they have played hardball ever since.

ESPN reports their new condition:

"The Minnesota Timberwolves have expressed interest in Philadelphia 76ers power forwardThaddeus Young as a potential replacement for Kevin Love, according to sources close to the situation.

Sources told ESPN.com that the Wolves, while continuing to discuss trade proposals that would send Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers, have been exploring their options for acquiring Young from the Sixers, either through a separate transaction or as part of an expanded Love trade."

The latest trade rumor is that Cleveland has complied with this condition. The Sixers have interest in Cavs shooting guard Dion Waiters and Cleveland is willing to send him to Philadelphia along with Kevin Martin of Minnesota. The rumored final offer looks like this (from ESPN):

"Minnesota sends Love and Barea to Cleveland and Martin to Philadelphia. Cleveland sends Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, three nonguaranteed contracts and two 2015 first-round draft picks to Minnesota and Dion Waiters to Philadelphia. Philadelphia sends Thaddeus Young to Minnesota."

Cleveland may be giving away too much in this trade including the two first round picks (their own and the Miami Heat's pick, ironically taken from the LeBron transaction in 2010). Waiters gives around 15 points a game and is slowly building his potential. However, he has had chemistry issues with All-Star guard Kyrie Irving before and there are rumors that he does not want to give up his starting spot (to Andrew Wiggins, if the trade doesn't happen). Cleveland also does not want to take on Kevin Martin's long and expensive contract, and passing that to the Sixers may well be worth it.

Will it finally happen? We still have to wait for Wiggins' 30 days to pass.
