According to a spec sheet released by 91Mobiles.com, it notes that the Nokia X2 will be available by July 30, 2014 and will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. Some of its key features are a 4.3-inch ClearBlack display, 5MP camera and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It also has 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal memory and up to 32GB storage, 1800 mAh lion battery.

The Nokia X2’s 5MP autofocus camera comes with LED flash and a VGA front camera. Connectivity features of the unit include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

According to Forbes, though the Nokia X2 is running on Android, its OS has been heavily modified to look more like a Windows Phone interface. The phone’s manufacturer, which is now owned by Microsoft, also included a home key, a feature not present on any of its predecessor and came under some criticism after its omission confused some users.

The Nokia X2 also now has a Google Now-like featured called “Fastlane,” which allows you to view calendar entries, most used apps, and change music tracks. The add-on is designed to be the “personalized” area of the phone where you can launch applications quickly or get information.

Microsoft apps comes pre-loaded with the X2, including OneDrive and Outlook. It’s very possible that more apps will be coming with the Nokia X2.

A downside of the Nokia X2 is that Google Play is not accessible through the device despite it running on Android. You’ll need to go through the Nokia app store or a third-party alternative like Yandex.

Nonetheless, the Nokia X2 sports good specs for a budget-friendly price. Though most reports show that the unit will be sold for only $135, an immediate conversion of the expected price shown on the 91Mobiles.com website show otherwise.
