Ariana Grande revealed during a recent interview with Seventeen magazine that she has a rocky relationship with her father, sparking rumors amongst her fans on Twitter and Instagram that dating boyfriend Jai Brooks has provided her comfort during her difficult times.

"It's private, but it happened last year. It took me so long to be okay with it. The thing that got me there was embracing the fact that that I am made up of half my dad, and a lot of my traits come from him," she told the magazine.

"So much of me comes from my father, and for so long, I didn't like that about myself."

She posted a message on her Twitter and Instagram accounts telling boyfriend Jai Brooks "I wanna be loved by u."

She is allegedly "doing great" with dating boyfriend Jai Brooks despite her ongoing feud with Jennette McCurdy.

"Ariana and Jai are great. They spend as much time together as possible and are really happy," a source told Hollywood Life.

"Ariana doesn't go in public that much. She usually just hangs out at home with friends," our source reveals. "They watch movies Jai draws and they listen to music. Pretty basic."

She and her former "Sam & Cat" co-star Jennette McCurdy are rumored to be having a huge feud.

However, a source has revealed to Hollywood Life that the former besties may not have too much drama following their friendship.

"As far as I know, I know the situation pretty well - they're not in a fight," a source told the site.

"I really don't think [the tweet] is about Ariana, and I know they haven't had a falling out. They were still hanging out last week!"
