Taylor Swift MTV VMAs 2014: Country Star Taylor Swift Will Perform At The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards; Beyonce Leads Nominations (FULL LIST OF NOMINEES)

Taylor Swift is playing the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards and the country music star promises that her show will be explosive.

MTV VMAs organizers haven't officially announced that Taylor Swift will be performing, but the new leaked on E! News.  Artist who have been officially announced include Usher, Ariana Grande and 5 Seconds of Summer.

This year's MTV VMAs will be recorded at The Forum, in Inglewood, California, next month.

According to E! News, Taylor Swift will perform solo. They say "It's not a collaboration with another singer."

Taylor Swift took home an MTV VMA Best Female Video Moonman in 2009 for "You Belong to Me." She took another one home last year for "I Knew You Were Trouble."

Beyoncé leads this year's nominees with eight nominations. Eminem and Iggy Azalea both pulled in seven apiece.

The Video of the Year award is being fought out between Beyoncé's "Drunk In Love," Azalea's "Fancy," Pharrell Williams' "Happy," Sia's "Chandelier" and Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball." Beyoncé has also been nominated for Best Female Video for "Partition." Beyonce and Jay Z are up for Best Collaboration for their song "Drunk in Love."

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards will air live on MTV on Aug. 24 at 9 p.m. from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

Taylor Swift is one of the highest-paid country stars, but according to Forbes, she is no longer No. 1.

Taylor Swift will also headline the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September.
